It's called "Turk's Cap." I found it in the wildflower book Nana gave me when she was here so I could figure out the names of the flowers we photograph.
OOPS! Tammy beat me to it. My sister gave me a piece of this a few years ago but I had to post a picture on line before I could find out the name. It has been so dry here that mine has not bloomed until a few days ago.
